baby girl's first shower!
Last week, in Danville, a few of my best friends threw a beautiful shower for baby girl & me. It was gorgeous, seriously...my pictures are dark so they don't even begin to do it justice. It was beautifully decorated, the ambience was perfect, the food was to die for (esp. Krista's orange rolls) and the company was even better {not to mention all the darling outfits I got} !
I stole these beautiful pictures from Krista's blog because she's practically a professional party planner- She's amazing & worked so hard to make it perfect. Go to her blog for the recipes- believe me, you want to...the food was delish!

It was such a gorgeous shower for an even more gorgeous girl! You are breath-taking normally but in all your preggo glow glory...Wow!! I love you so much and I loved weeping and laughing and eating and celebrating this little girl on the way with you! You are going to be an amazing mama!

I stumbled upon your blog around the time that you lost your little girl. I'm not sure why I kept coming back other than I wanted to see how you were doing... Anyway, I'm glad that I have kept coming back. Three weeks ago I lost my little boy, at five months pregnant my water broke. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing parts of your story on here. I don't know anyone who has gone through this personally (well... under the age of 50 ;)) and it's been nice for me to see that even through the pain and sadness there is hope. Seeing where you are now gives me a lot of hope. I wish you the very best, I think that you will be (and are)a terrific mother. Thank you again.
