husband

{some of you may be wondering where my husband has been all this time...well, he's been very busy... here he is for his debut at blogging}

hello friends - im trying my hand at blogging for the first time. im surprised at how not difficult it is.  so i've been away from my wife for a little while playing "where in the world is Carmen Sandiego".  i first went for ten days with ma and pa wilson to the Holy Land where we saw much of Israel and some of Palestine.  I came home for three days and then went transatlantic again - this time to Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary - with a couple mission buddies.  the trips were fab but im glad to be home with C again waiting for little girl to come.

View of the Dead Sea from Masada
With the rents at Cumron (where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found)
Me at the Jordan River
View from a Syrian bunker on the Golan Heights
me and the pops at Caesarea Phillipi
Me and the folks at an old roman palace on the Israeli coast
ma and pa at the Dome of the Rock

...I went with my mission buddies Jake "Silny" Frahm and BJ "I honestly don't remember" Kramer.  Scheming for the trip began on a fateful sunday back in November.  Fortunately, and against all odds (well, not really, but it sounds cooler), we were able to overcome a pregnant wife, a job search and a newly-minted fiancee to embark on our much anticipated journey back to the land where we served.  Bylo to jedna z nejlepsich skusenosti nasich zivotu, at zije Cesko!

In front of the National Museum on Wencalsas Square

A wonderful visit to the Vaclavovci in Trencin

We stopped in at a school in Slovakia and taught English for a couple of periods

Me and the bronze jester in Budapest

With the Kasanovi and Milan visiting the Hastikovi

At the Sunday Devotional the members made us speak at

Church in Uherske Hradiste - the greatest city in the world

A trip to the C.R. wouldn't be complete without a visit to Pani Brozkova's

The random tree girls in Liberec - i just couldn't resist

Beej and I in front of some weird statue in Budapest

With the members in U. Hradiste

No trip would be complete without sport - so we balled in Moravia

12 hr layover in Frankfurt so we went and saw the sites

and ate some pretty good german food (Jake ate most of it)

Could this be a scenario of Veronica Corningstone but in reverse? Possible. The trip looked legit, but the beard looked angelic. Brewers Game?

B- you fit right in with your nice locks (that you seemed to have cut half way through) and your manly beard. That looks like an amazing trip. Now you should just stay home and rub your wifes feet or something.

I love Brig with a beard! And, I am so jealous of his travels.

Maybe this means we can make a girls trip to Europe?? I'm in.
